Body weight plays a crucial role in determining the right mattress firmness. The correct counterpressure is essential to prevent physical discomfort. Around 75% of people benefit from a medium/firm mattress, which is the default setting. If you prefer a softer feel, simply rotate the support foams so that the white layer is on the bottom.

The Stellar mattress combines a ventilating comfort layer with temperature-regulating gel beads and a breathable Tencel cover, which quickly dissipates heat and moisture. The open-cell structure of the hybrid foam and the 3D border fabric ensure even the deeper layers ventilate effectively, keeping your sleep surface cool and dry at all times.
The Stellar mattress is designed to effectively repel allergens and dust mites. The foam is naturally hypoallergenic, the adhesive is water-based, and the cover is treated with Purotex+. Purotex+ offers outstanding protection against allergens, reducing dust mite allergens by 96.6%, cat hair allergens by 83.6%, and dog hair allergens by 76.5%. It is also 100% bio-based and retains its effectiveness even after 20 washes.

What body weight is the Stellar mattress suitable for?
We designed the Stellar mattress for people weighing between 45 kg and 120 kg. Thanks to the adjustable firmness, you can tailor the feel to match your weight. We recommend the firmer side for those over 75 kg and the softer side for those under 75 kg. Comfort is also personal, so you can experiment to find what feels best for you.

How long should I wait after unboxing before using the mattress?
On average, the mattress takes around 4 to 5 hours to fully regain its shape. Single mattresses will usually be ready sooner than doubles, and a warm room will help speed up the process.

Can my Morningstar mattress sag over time?
Sagging in mattresses is fairly common, especially as they age or if they’re made from lower-quality materials. However, we’re confident enough to offer a 10-year guarantee against it. We only use the highest-grade foams, chosen for their exceptional resilience to sagging.

Is the mattress cover washable, and at what temperature?
Absolutely. The removable mattress cover is machine washable at up to 40°C. One important tip: Tencel covers should never be washed at higher temperatures, as this can damage the fibres. If you see a claim that a Tencel cover can be washed at 60°C, it’s incorrect. We recommend washing the cover at least once a year.
